The SA Music Awards-nominated singer-songwriter and Ollie’s karaoke winner, who now judges the Thursday night karaoke competitions at the venue, has already started on degree number six.

“I’m doing my MMus now, Master’s degree in music. My research study is about the impact of artificial intelligence on the music industry, which is a fascinating and fast-moving topic,” said Rodell.

He also recently celebrated the release of his 17th studio album.

“Amanzimtoti is a wonderful place to be immersed in music. There are lots of places to perform. It’s like the karaoke capital of the country, and there are many venues that offer live music.
