Colourful coastal clean-up at Umbogintwini beach [Pics]

Men and women from local early childhood development centres collaborated for a coastal clean-up at Umbogintwini beach.

CLEANING up never looked so colourful as participants from local Early Childhood Development Centres joined Sapphire Coast Tourism and Clean Surf Project (CSP) for a beach clean-up project at Umbogintwini beach recently.

Romy Wenzel, of Sapphire Coast Tourism and CSP extended gratitude to FNB Care for initiating the campaign, as well as the eThekwini Municipality Beach Cleansing Unit for their assistance. A total of 60 bags were collected and the participants each committed to taking their hands-on experience back to their centres to inspire young minds and drive forward a strong, litter-free message.
