[Update] Amanzimtoti police seek help identifying victim

Amanzimtoti police seek community assistance in identifying the pedestrian killed on the N2 South on February 21.

POLICE are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the deceased of a pedestrian-vehicle incident that occurred along the N2 southbound on February 21.

According to Captain Charlene Petersen, Amanzimtoti police spokesperson, a case of culpable homicide was opened following an incident in the early hours of the morning.

The body of the deceased, a dark-skinned man in his 40s, was taken to the Park Rynie Mortuary.

The public are urged to contact the investigating officer, Detective Warrant Officer Erasmus, on 079 500 0316 with information that can assist in identifying the deceased.
