Pedestrian killed in accident on N2 South

A road accident along the N2 southbound left one pedestrian dead and the driver of a vehicle hospitalised.

A PEDESTRIAN was killed and the driver of a vehicle hospitalised following a horrific accident near the Doonside off-ramp along the N2 southbound.

Auto Rust Control Towing were first on the scene and its community liaison, Marilize Hale, explained that at the scene a body was lying on the ground. The driver of the vehicle was seriously injured and was hospitalised.

Amanzimtoti police attended to the scene.

Mere hours later in Adams Mission a multi-vehicle accident occurred after a vehicle’s trailer came loose. The trailer was carrying cattle.
