Sapphire Coast map-boards ready to point the path

Map-boards across Amanzimtoti were repaired and upgraded in key high-visibility areas for tourists and locals alike.

UPGRADES and repairs to Sapphire Coast Tourism’s map-boards were recently completed, providing a lay of the land for local businesses, tourists and locals alike.

The map-boards are positioned in high-visibility areas, including Athlone Park, Southgate Industrial Park, Amanzimtoti Main beach, Winklespruit and Umkomaas.

Romy Wenzel, of Sapphire Coast Tourism, encouraged local businesses to become members. She explained that membership is one of the criteria for several Durban Tourism Business Awards categories. In addition, it brings with it a host of benefits, including a spot in the Sapphire Coast Visitor Guide and map.
