In the first project, Macsteel sponsored 14 security gates, which were installed at Amanzimtoti’s Durban School for the Hearing Impaired, West Park Special School and Mariannridge Primary School. This was to improve safety and security at these schools.

In the second project, Walking the Talk Foundation and Macsteel also donated a one-month supply of nappies to Shepherd’s Keep, a non-profit organisation that cares for six HIV-positive babies at a time. Shepherd’s Keep was thankful for the donation, and also thanked the community for the support.
