Rotary and Amanzimtoti ATKV donate 150 jars of hope
A joint venture by Amanzimtoti Rotarians and ATKV saw the organisations donate 150 jars of hope to the elderly.
IN A kind gesture inspired by the example set by former president Nelson Mandela, on July 16, the Rotary Club of Amanzimtoti and the Amanzimtoti ATKV branch joined hands to distribute 150 “jars of hope,” to the Jabulani Home for the Aged and Khanya Hospice.

The jars can feed at least four people when 2.5 litres of water are added. With two caps as chairperson of the ATKV and president of the Amanzimtoti Rotary Club, Riaan Odendaal said that the donation is a small way the two organisations can give back to the needy.
