EDITOR – It’s extremely annoying and frustrating to see so many people littering on a daily basis and most of them are adults.
People throw stuff out of car windows when surely there’s a dustbin at their next stop.
On busy walkways and pavements, there are dustbins on lamp posts plus bins every 50/100 metres on some stretches, yet people just discard trash on the ground.
People seriously need to start caring and taking some pride in their neighbourhoods.
On a positive note it’s great to see that a ‘keep your city clean’ campaign is now being promoted in the press and elsewhere. Long overdue. Hopefully the public will play their part.
