Anglers cast their lines in Bucc compo
Deon Jordt won the inedible category recording a Honeycomb Ray of 28.2 kgs.
BUCCANEERS Social Fishing Club competition results from Saturday, 5 October and Sunday, 6 October:
Deon Jordt won the inedible category, with a honeycomb ray of 28.2kgs.
Brian Scott also recorded a brown skate of 1.47kgs.
On the edible side, Toss Strydom caught a stumpnose of 4.2kg, to win the edible category.
Aslo recorded two king fish, one of 3.1kgs and the other of 2.6kgs.
Well done to both Deon Jordt and Toss Strydom and also to the other anglers who put in the time as weather conditions were not favourable on Sunday.
A big thank-you to Tony Chantrell for organising the braai wors and to Alan, Alison, bar and kitchen staff for their help.
The next competition will be the weekend of 19 and 20 October.
