Five-a-side soccer tourney to fundraise for school
This is a fundraiser to install floodlights at the astro pitch.
Lace up your takkies and get down to Amanzimtoti High School’s astro pitch for an amateur five-a-side soccer tournament on Sunday, 2 November.The event kicks off at 9am and costs R200 per team.
“This is a fundraiser to install floodlights at the astro pitch,” said Toti High head of sport, Kurt Nero. “We need to raise funds for six lights. We also have to fundraise to build a wall around the pitch and an ablution block.”
Only 10 teams can enter, so book early by contacting coach Decian Romani on 082-793-8885.
“Once the pitch is sorted, the idea is to host different leagues there, such as business and women leagues. We already have a school league in place.”
