Midweek tennis women to tuck into lunch
A notice has been placed on the notice board to enable members who are willing to help on Saturday mornings to list their names and contact numbers.
WEDNESDAY mornings are available again for social tennis at Amanzimtoti Tennis Club.
The midweek women’s lunch will be held on Wednesday, 10 June, details of which will be posted on the notice board.
Note the monthly draw will take place during lunch. If you haven’t got a ticket, see Joan.
Saturday social tennis continues with enthusiasm among players. Men’s and women’s Saturday league is due to commence at the end of July. Lists are on the notice board for players to enter their names for selection. If you can’t make it down to the clubhouse, let Joan know if you wish to play. Men are to note that their league will be played on Sunday mornings.
An important date to diarise is 13 June as this is when the AGM takes place. If you have any item for discussion at this meeting, contact secretary Carolann by 6 June latest, to enable it to be placed on the agenda. AGM details are on the notice board.
The development clinic for primary school children and older is held on Saturday mornings from 9am to 10am during school terms. If your child is interested in learning more about the game of tennis, take them down to Toti Tennis Club at Hutchison Park where there are some tennis racquets on loan for the hour.
