RESULT of Amanzimtoti Tennis Club’s midweek league saw the 1st team beat Glenashley by two sets.
Well done.
The 2nd team lost to Chiltern 1.
In the women’s match played on Saturday against Kings Park, Toti lost 2-4. The men travelled to Hillcrest but unfortunately recorded a loss to Hillcrest’s 3rd team.
On Wednesday, 26 August, the rained out matches will be played – 1st team at home against Kloof 1 and the 2nd team away to Brighton. Two courts will be available for social games.
On Saturday, 28 August the women’s team plays at home against Westville 2 and on Sunday, 30 August the men play at home against Mitchell 2.
On Saturday only two courts will be available for social games until the league match is complete. All members send their good wishes and blessing for a speedy recovery to Annys who is in St Augustine’s Hospital after having major surgery.
The club’s development clinic continues on Saturday mornings from 9am to 10am. Take your children down to the club for an hour of coaching by Madi and Gabriel. There are some tennis racquets available for use and children should ideally wear suitable tennis shoes.
