Lifies retests on the go at Winkle SLC

The rugby was well supported on Saturday night, while Sunday was training as normal with the nippers enjoying some beach work as the weather was not playing its part.

THE past weekend was a hive of activity at Winklespruit Surf Lifesaving Club with members enjoying the newly painted refreshment area on Friday night.

Winklespruit members have done it once again with Michela Parker being selected as the sports girl of the year at Kingsway High School. Well done Michela. To all members of the club currently writing matric exams, good luck – it’s not long to go now.

Retests are on the go at the moment, so duty members are to keep in contact with club captain, Gareth Hazell.

This coming weekend the club will show the rugby on Saturday with normal training taking place on Sunday.
