Jolly good year-end party for Winkle BC

JEANETTE Els, Yvonne Hooper and Norma Raath were overall winners for the monthly Caltex twinkle trips, which was played on Wednesday, 9 December.

Second session winners were Linda Johns, Marge Eriksen and Jenny Naude.

The 100 board was won by Trish Farmer.

The Winklespruit BC end-of-the-year Christmas function was well attended and everyone had a super evening. The food was delicious and there was more than enough for everyone to have a generous helping.

The Steve Evenwell 2-4-2 was played on Sunday, 13 December and overall winners were Brian Bodley and Elaine Critchlow. First session went to Mac and Joyce Mackrory and second session winners were Brian Cox and Lulu Bingham. Lulu Bingham won the whiskey for the most touches. Doug Tinkler won the 100 board.

There will be social bowls on Wednesday, 16 December and Friday, 18 December. Wors rolls will be on sale Friday evening.

Affiliation fees are due by 15 December.

Club competitions for 2016 has been placed on the notice board.
