Jacqui’s trio are women’s trips victors

WINKLESPRUIT Bowling Club’s women’s Victory Kwik Spar trips was played on Thursday, 4 February with overall winners being Jacqui Fouche, Joan Van Rensburg and Val De Kok.

First session went to Denise Bingham, Jackie Holdrick and Linda Mc Gregor.

The second session was won by Elmarie Young, Sylveigh Ananiadis and Sandy Snyman. Kathy Harding was the winner of the 100 board. Joan van Rensburg won the spider and the mystery prize was won by Elaine Critchlow.

The attendance draw on Friday, 5 February was won by Classina Powell. As she was not present, the attendance draw will be a carry over.

The bring and braai held on Friday evening was a great success. The company was good and all enjoyed themselves. The club thanks Les and his good woman who donated the delicious pudding, which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. There will be a meal once again this Friday evening, 12 February. Indicate on the list on the notice board if you will be attending this meal.

Dries Snyman and Freddy Hetterscheidt played senior singles against each other on Saturday, 6 February, with Dries the victor.

Remember the Steve Evenwel 2-4-2 is this Sunday, 14 February.

Bowlers should note the starting time for Wednesday and Friday social bowls is 2.15pm for 2.30pm, until further notice.
