KZN ringball players selected
KZNRF management has embarked on a fundraising and sponsorship drive to enable members to compete in this event.
TOTI Ringball Club’s Susan Hearn, Elsabe Botha, Heinrich de Koker, Matthew Dal Moro and Vickey Hanekom were selected to represent KZN at the national ringball tournament in Pretoria.
The KZN Ringball Federation (KZNRF) will be competing in the 2016 ringball SA championships, where eight senior teams of about 100 players and officials will descend on Pretoria from 10 to 16 July.
About 180 teams comprising of 2,200 players and officials will be playing about 800 matches during the six-day period.
KZNRF management has embarked on a fundraising and sponsorship drive to enable members to compete in this event. Efforts are being made to raise much-needed funds for expenses such as hotel and transport costs, among others.
Costs involved for each player include R1,300 for accommodation; R1,500 for clothing and R2,500 for travel. If anyone can assist with sponsorships or donations, it would be appreciated.
