In level two U9, Jessica McCalgan placed second with a gold medal.
In level two U11, Keisha Ramiah received a bronze medal.
In level four U13, Danielle Rossouw received a silver medal.
In level four O15, Lulu Kweyama was first overall with a gold medal.
“I was happy with their results,” said Fusion Rhythmic coach, Jess Odendaal, who has been coaching rhythmic gymnastics for 15 years.
“These girls are now all working hard in preparation for the KZN provincial competition at the end of August. We still have some work to do in order to get them looking great for provincials.
I attribute their good results to the fact that we are a small club and the girls receive individual attention. I am passionate about rhythmic gymnastics so I think that rubs off on the girls too.”
