Tennis club serves up round robin tourney
Kloof 1 and the second team plays at home against Hillcrest 2. Players will be contacted each week.

AMANZIMTOTI Tennis Club holds a round robin tournament on Saturday, 23 July.
The format will be men’s doubles and women’s doubles with a draw for partners.
Time is 12.30pm for 1pm start. Entry fee is R50 which includes a boerewors roll. A small plate of snacks for the afternoon would be appreciated. The çlub looks forward to participation from all members. Midweek women’s league commenced on Wednesday, 20 July with the first team playing at home against Glenashley 1. On Wednesday, 27 July the first team will play away against Kloof 1 and the second team plays at home against Hillcrest 2. Players will be contacted each week.
Social players are to note that there will be only two courts available during this league. Members should note that the men’s and women’s doubles league is due to commence on Saturday and Sunday, 30 and 31 July. Lists are on the notice board for entries. The club is committed to one men’s team and two women’s teams. Fixtures for these league events have now been received and are on the notice board. Contact Joan for league details and information. The development clinic re-opens on Saturday, 23 July from 9am to 10am. If your child shows an interest in tennis, take them down to the club on Saturday morning. There are racquets available for use and children must wear suitable shoes. Madi and Gabriel will be there to show the children how to play the game.
