Weekend tennis league fixtures on hold

The men’s league fixture against Mitchell was played on Saturday, 27 August with the result being a draw.

ON Wednesday, 24 August, Amanzimtoti Tennis Club’s women’s first team beat Chiltern 1 by 6–0.

Well played to the women.

The second team lost to Glenashley 2–4. Midweek fixtures for Wednesday, 7 September will see the second team at home against Hillcrest 2. Social players are to note that two courts will be available for social games.

The men’s league fixture against Mitchell was played on Saturday, 27 August with the result being a draw. All remaining weekend league fixtures have been put on hold until 17 and 18 September. Details of the club’s round robin tournament on Saturday, 3 September are on the notice board. The club looks forward to a great turn-out of players. A small plate of snacks for the afternoon will be appreciated.

The club’s development clinic is happening each Saturday morning for the duration of the school term. If your child shows an interest in tennis, take them down to the club on Saturday morning from 9am to 10am. There are racquets available for use and children must wear suitable shoes. Madi and Gabriel will be there to show the children how to play the game.
