There was a good turn-out at the Friday evening meal and all enjoyed the delicious meal and dessert prepared by Margaret van Belkum. The club thanks her for preparing the meal, which is appreciated. There will be another meal served this Friday evening. Put your names on the noticeboard list or let Trish know before Friday if you are attending, for catering reasons. The Friday evening attendance draw winner was Maureen Warrior. As she was not present, it is a carry-over. There were no winners for the wheel of fortune.

Diarise the following dates: The green will be closed from 9 October for about four to six weeks for annual green maintenance. Note that only the green will be closed and not the club. The Friday evening meals and attendance draw will still carry on over this period.

Go and enjoy a drink and compare bowling stories with your fellow bowlers on Wednesday and Friday afternoons from 3pm onwards.

The club wishes Sylveigh Ananiadis a happy birthday in the week ahead. May she have a blessed year ahead.
