Mike, Di are 2017 mixed nominated pairs champs

IN the third leg of the nominated mixed pairs, Mike and Di Kruger were victors over Sylveigh Ananiadis and Allan Duncan.
Mike and Di Kruger were the overall winners for the nominated mixed pairs for 2017 and Brian Farmer and Elmarie Young were runnersup.

Another successful, well attended Friday evening meal was enjoyed by a jovial group of bowlers. Trish Farmer prepared the tasty meal and dessert, for which the club thanks her. Her dedication to making and organising these Friday evening meals is appreciated. There will be a bring and braai this Friday evening. Pap and gravy will be supplied. Put your names on the list on the notice board or let Trish know before Friday if you are attending, for catering reasons.
The winner of the Friday evening attendance draw was Sheila Court. Cathy du Plooy and Freddy Hetterscheidt were both winners in the wheel of fortune.
The green is closed for annual green maintenance and will re-open in about four to six weeks’ time. Note however, that while the green will be closed, the club will not. The Friday evening meals and attendance draw still continue over this period.
Go and enjoy a drink and compare bowling stories with your fellow bowlers on Wednesday and Friday afternoons from 3pm onwards.
