Danny Bradshaw clocked his birds minutes apart to take the win

Danny Bradshaw showed us once more how to select and prepare a small kit of birds and do exceptionally well.

AMANZIMTOTI Racing Pigeon Club (ARPC) flew the longest race of the racing programme from Mussina on Saturday, September 18.

The birds were liberated in good weather at 06:30 for the start of their 870km flight home.

Danny Bradshaw showed us once more how to select and prepare a small kit of birds and do exceptionally well.

He clocked his first bird at 17:10 and his next bird five minutes later to take an excellent win and third position, flying only three birds in the race.

He also finished fourth in the federation against all odds.

Basil Tait continued his good form and has shown he can get his large kit of birds to clock in quick succession once more. A remarkable achievement.

Basil finished second and dominated the result in both the club and the federation.

Well done to both of them for flying the Toti flag high.

Next week is the last race of the season, a young bird race from Polokwane and the birds will have their well-earned rest until next year.
