Toti High’s MMA fighters compete in Gauteng
The championships provided a chance for the two budding athletes to showcase their skills.
AMANZIMTOTI High School learners Ethan Richards and Owen Richards were part of the Youth KwaZulu-Natal team that competed at the South African Mixed Martial Arts Championships in Gauteng recently.

Ethan placed second in his division and earned a silver medal. The event was a highlight in the calendar of the sport as medalists stand a chance to qualify for the South African National Team selection and obtain the opportunity to represent South Africa at the Youth Mixed Martial Arts World Championships in August.
