Library fun planned for youngsters
With the December school holidays just around the corner, parents can drop their children off at Toti library where they have fun while learning crafts this holiday.

“All our activities start at 10.30am each day and will last about an hour. Children from the ages of five to 12-years-old are welcome to attend the craft-making sessions, while children of all ages are invited to the storytelling,” said Toti head librarian, Sibongile Doncabe.
“We will also have storytelling performances by Africa Ignite from 11 to 14 December. These will take place from 11.30am to 3.30pm. Parents are welcome to donate any related materials for these free activities. Budding poets and storytellers are welcome to participate.”
The following holiday activities will take place at Toti library:
Tuesday, 10 December – making a family tree with small family pictures.
Wednesday, 11 December – making Christmas cards and storytelling for all ages.
Thursday, 12 December – making a modge podge vase and storytelling for all ages.
Friday, 13 December – making Christmas decorations and storytelling for all ages.
Saturday, 14 December – storytelling for all ages.
Tuesday, 17 December – making Christmas place mats.
Wednesday, 18 December – making a pasta necklace.
Thursday, 19 December – making a glitter star.
Friday, 20 December – making Christmas wreath decorations.
