Orchestra and local choirs combine

Enjoy carols by candlelight with the Durban City Orchestra at Galleria on Thursday, 28 November from 7pm to 8.15pm on the first floor outside Ocean Basket and Mimmos.

The Durban City Orchestra is the second oldest symphony orchestra in South Africa, dating back to 1888.

“This event will also include our community talent with the Amanzimtoti and Kingsway High school choirs taking part,” said marketing manager Elizabeth Roux.

“The entrance fee for the evening will be a soft toy which will be donated to charity. Thanks to our Facebook fans, the top nominated charity was Operation Bobbi Bear and it will receive these toys on the evening. We will also hand over R1,000 worth of Arbour Town gift cards to Bobbi Bear, Amanzimtoti Cares, Aryan Benevolent Home and the Jes Foord Foundation as runner-up nominees.”
