SATURDAY, 4 JUNE: Well known actor and entertainer, Peter Court performs at St Mary’s Church Hall at 3.30pm.

The theme is conservation, especially water, and a performance using puppets and dialogue will a very important message across to the public.

The performance is for all ages and is greatly entertaining. Tickets are R50 from Jenny Stone. Call her on 031-903-7198.

Tickets are limited and entry is by ticket only. Bring along an afternoon picnic and enjoy a great family afternoon.

SUNDAY, 5 JUNE: Toti Ramblers will walk in Vernon Crookes Nature Reserve, which is located inland from Park Rynie. Meet at Lords and Legends at 7am to arrange lifts. There will be a picnic tea after the walk. For queries, call Eileen on 031-903-1617.

SUNDAY, 5 JUNE: Rhodesia Association of South Africa (incorporating the Flame Lily foundation) holds its annual general meeting followed by a social braai at Twilight Shell Hole, Flame Lily Park, 565 Stella Road, Queensburgh at 10.30am for 11am. It will be a braai for all members of RASA and the Rhodesian pensioners living in the park.

It is also an open invitation for all Rhodesians, young and old, who would like to join in for a fun get-together. The association will supply the braai fire, sadza and gravy. Take your own meat and perhaps a salad to share. There is a cash bar on the premises which has competitive prices, so do not take along any refreshments. MONDAY, 6 JUNE: Cottage Patch Quilting Guild monthly meeting in the Toti library activities room at 9.15am. All visitors are welcome. For more details, contact Sandy on 082-466-6480.
