SATURDAY, 2 DECEMBER: White elephant sale at St Wins Methodist Church in Morton Road, Warner Beach at 6am. There will be all sorts for sale, including electric appliances, pots, plastic goods, ornaments, toys, CDs, DVDs, paintings, wall posters, jewellery, lots of clothing, curtains, duvet covers, blankets, tools galore, Christmas decor and a few Christmas trees. Gates open at 6am, get there early or miss out. Boerewors rolls will be on sale. Support the church, as the roof needs urgent repairs.

Fleamarket, arts and crafts and many others stalls available to sell your wares. There will be entertainment for adults and children too – including a jumping castle; games and face and hair art for children. Live and piped music throughout the day, tea garden and good food. Lions host health checks
Every second Saturday of the month, between 10am and noon, Kingsburgh Lions Club hosts free blood pressure and diabetes testing at Pick and Pay Arbour Crossing.
The next testing will be on Saturday, 9 December.
DUE to the seasonal unpredictability of the weather, as well as family commitments during the Christmas holidays, the Wednesday tea garden in the bird park will not operate during December and January.
