Earlier in the year, the Amanzimtoti High School learner gracefully achieved the title of Miss Teen Universe KZN. Since then, she attended the KZN Sports, Arts and Culture Awards in April and had a radio interview at Pick n Pay Hyper by the Sea’s Eat Like a Champion Springbok Parade.
“I’m really excited about everything that is happening and all the opportunities that have come my way from being Miss Teen Universe South Africa KZN. I have started doing quite a bit of fundraising towards my bid for next year’s national pageant,” said Turner.
She hopes that the community will rally around her and support her along the next steps in her journey. Her next fundraising effort is a Passion and Paint, Sip and Paint on October 3 at Corner Cafe, Doonside. If you are interested in participating, it is R300 per person and includes breakfast, a cappuccino, the painting along with supplies.
