THE CCPO received a call from a client at around 11:30 on September 13, stating that a person had jumped over his boundary wall into his Lewis Terrace property and then fled after allegedly stealing motorcycle parts. Upon getting the necessary information, CCPO and ET Rapid Response combed the area, looking for the culprit. He was seen walking along Louis Botha Drive, then on Dan Pienaar Drive, where he was caught.
He has been detained by the Amanzimtoti police for further investigation.

Adams Mission
On the morning of September 13, a stolen VW Polo was recovered in Adams Mission after it was reported stolen in Chatsworth on the same day.
After being notified, PT Alarms proceeded to the last known location where the vehicle’s tracker signal was received. Upon arrival at the location within minutes, the Polo was located and recovered. The vehicle’s interior had been stripped.
For further processing, the vehicle was taken to the KwaMakhutha police station.

Kingsburgh
On September 9, Blue Security officers responded to an alert received through a neighbourhood watch group regarding a VW Polo that had just been stolen from the Kingsburgh area. The tactical members immediately began searching the surrounding areas. Tracker SA provided tracking information, allowing the members to narrow down the vehicle’s location.
Blue Security tactical officers, together with Magma Security, searched the identified area and located the stolen VW Polo concealed between houses in Illovo.
The vehicle was secured and subsequently handed over to the Amanzimtoti police for further processing.

Isipingo
In the Isipingo area of Malabar Hills just before 11:00 on September 9, the PT Alarms control centre received a panic alert from a client.
Within minutes a tactical officer was dispatched, and upon arrival, he made contact with a suspect who had gained entry into the client’s property without permission.
The police were called to the scene to remove the suspect, who appeared to be mentally unstable.
