TURFFONTEIN – Little hands and feet were the main centre of attraction at Turffontein Primary’s Grade R 2013 graduation ceremony, on Tuesday November 19.
Thirteen graduates were seen on stage while parents and teachers were dancing, singing, cheering and taking pictures in congratulating their children for progressing to Grade 1 next year as they were collecting their certificates.
Mrs Jessie Fillies, a Grade R teacher at Turffontein Primary stated that it has been a successful year for her and her graduates and they all deserve to be in grade one come 2014. She concluded that children are what their parents raise them to be, and this is the right time to nurture the learners until Matric.
