Park Senior School needs your help

PARK Senior School was established in 1921 and is situated in Tramway Street, Turffontein. We strive to empower our learners with lifelong education so that they may develop holistically in a dynamic environment that nurtures potential and uplifts human dignity. However, we are faced with numerous challenges. We service a largely disadvantaged community of which most parents are unemployed and we have a low school fee recovery rate.

Added to this financial hurdle, we have learners who do not have breakfast or a lunch pack. A balanced, healthy meal is essential in achieving the vision of Park Senior. We had a feeding scheme funded by the Department of Education. However, this funding will terminate on April 1, due to financial constraints. The need for a feeding scheme is a non-negotiable. Hence, we humbly appeal to any organisation to assist with: loaves of bread, margarine, fruits, yoghurt and any ingredients that could be used to make healthy sandwiches like cheese, polony, tuna, lettuce, tomato, pies, sausage rolls and two minute noodles.

Any kind of donation regarding our feeding scheme would be appreciated.
