Man arrested for stealing Highveld Primary School property

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – A suspect was arrested by the Moffatview police after he accidentally dropped a bag containing stolen school property within the school premises on Saturday May 10.

The school security notified the police after picking up the bag, which enclosed an Acer projector and a computer which belong to the school.

Constable Koloane and Constable Mhlongo proceeded to Highveld primary immediately after receiving a radio control call. They met with the security officer who was holding the bag when they arrived.

The officers found the suspect hiding under a tree but he came out when the police asked him to show himself.

The suspect replied that he does not know why he hid under a tree when the officers asked him why he was hiding.
