Snare hunt on Saturday
The only way of ridding the nature reserve of snares is to physically search for them and remove them.

KLIPRIVIERSBERG NATURE RESERVE – Due to increased vagrant activities in the reserve the KNRA is appealing for as many volunteers as possible to join their June Snare Hunt.
Help them to take positive action against this grossly inhuman method of catching animals and birds. The snare hunt will start at the Entrance Precinct, Peggy Vera Road, Kibler Park at 08:00.
Please join them! Wear a hat, sensible shoes and bring water to drink. Also a pair of gloves as well as wire cutters or pliers will be most useful. Call Tony Ferguson 082 454 6114 for further information.
