The South stands united against abuse
At least 1 600 children have been murdered in South Africa in two of the last three year statistics for the third year are yet to be made available. This was revealed by the Police Minister in parliament.

ORMONDE – In celebration of Women’s month, Southgate Mall in partnership with Fun Locator, the Community Policing Forum and Businesses in the South and the Community will join forces in a Fun Walk to take a public stand against women, children and substance abuse on Saturday August 23.

The start and finish point is Southgate Value Market.
Park at and walk from Southgate Mall Parking. The starting time is 08:30.
The walk will be in two categories, a 5km fun walk and a 10km fun run. The route is from Southgate Value Market via Meredale, Comptonville, Alan Manor and back to the Southgate Value Market.
The entry fee is R65 per person, which secures you your Fun Walk kit comprising of a T shirt, cap, medal and water bottle.
