Mulbarton Remedial School celebrate ten years

There was cause for celebration on Tuesday September 23 when Mulbarton Remedial  School celebrated its tenth birthday.

MULBARTON –  Principal of the school, Pat van In, and one teacher, Kirsty McLearie began the school and from there it has grown and grown.

Delicious cakes were enjoyed by all at the birthday.

All the children, teachers and parents came together and enjoyed a morning of fun and the learners had raised money to buy an Honours Board, which was erected on the day, bearing the very first head prefect’s name, Teshaan Maharaj.

The youngest child who attended the celebrations, was Katie (three months) with her mom Sonja van Niekerk, also a teacher at the school.

Delicious cupcakes were enjoyed and afterwards the children went to their new playground where there were jumping castles and other fun games.
