New Year’s resolution

2015 Ambition: Cllr Rashieda sets her goals

WARD 55 – 2014 was a year with its own challenges. My aims and objectives are as follows:

We did the drug march. Now in 2015 we are going to implement what we marched for – No more drugs, Enough is Enough.

I am going to work towards a drug free zone in Ward 55. We need to claim back our streets and our children.

Local Drug Action Committee (LDAC) is in operation. I will assist in building the strongest LDAC ever. Families come and use the free facility.

I am here, we are here to assist you. Don’t ever feel alone going into 2015. Feel free to contact me (083 752 6468) at any time of the day if you encounter a situation regarding drugs.

Service delivery will happen and must happen. Drains must be fixed, service lanes must be cleaned, but a life lost to drugs can never be brought back.

Families get destroyed without warning. Our youth are dying. Our foundation is not stable. I am going to help rebuild our foundation. Ward 55, let us unite and build our ward. 2015 here we come.

Youth come and join us.
