McCarthy Ford The Glen assist with fundraising
AAAKEE (which stands for Abused and Abandoned Kids Educational Excursions) is a charitable organisation based in Fairview, Johannesburg that caters for nearly 1 000 children who span six different children’s orphanage homes in Gauteng.
JOHANNESBURG – This January, the organisation has been raising funds to pay for much-needed school uniforms for the children. The funding was bolstered when McCarthy Ford The Glen made a generous financial contribution to the organisation.
Michael Anthony, an AAAKEE representative, said, “It’s truly wonderful that companies such as McCarthy Ford have their hearts in the right place, and cater for these children on a regular basis.”
“Without them, we wouldn’t be able to do what we set out to do for the children. We’d like to extend a special word of thanks to Mrs Clair van der Merwe and the staff at McCarthy Ford The Glen for their special contribution to this worthy cause,” he continued.
AAAKEE runs several funds and projects throughout each year, dealing with the provision of food, groceries, uniforms, stationery, learning materials, and more.
