Nurses at various hospitals treated to delicious cupcakes on Nurses Day

NATIONAL Nurses’ Day kicked off to a delightful start for nursing sisters at Netcare’s Mulbarton, Clinton and Union hospitals, as well as South Rand Hospital, thanks to Thaba Eco Hotel and Pam Golding.

Kim Le Roux from Thaba Eco Hotel and Pam Golding representatives Melissa Baynes, Joanne Greenshields and Kirsty Dickenson handed over trays of cupcakes, as a token of appreciation to all the nurses who have dedicated their lives to caring for patients.

“We decided to do this for nurses because, although the doctors come in and do routine checks on patients, the nurses are always there giving medical care. They are the heroes and without them there would be no medical care,” said Kirsty Dickenson.
