André Hendricks rises to coach the South
Action is key: keep trying; keep aspiring; keep persisting and keep setting ambitious goals.
ARE you making it happen or letting it happen?
JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – This is the question often asked by the South’s own certified life coach, André Hendricks, who motivates and coaches people about living a fruitful life.
André, from Riverlea, is not only a motivational speaker, he also guides and supports parents, students and teachers about career, health, parenting and many other subjects. His golden rule, when it comes to making things happen, is as simple as this: “People must do four things: stop doing some things; start doing some things; do less of some things; and do more of some things.”
“Think about it, in life you either have a plan for your life, or someone else has a plan for your life. You make choices that will determine your future or you allow others to make choices for you. You go where you want to go or you’re taken by the currents. You impose yourself on your circumstances or become a victim of your circumstances.
“Until you have an honest and serious conversation with yourself, and until you reach a stage where you can tell yourself that you have made up your mind, nothing will happen. When you are prepared to pay the price and do whatever it takes to make things happen, one that day things will turn into your favour. Action is key: keep trying; keep aspiring; keep persisting and keep setting ambitious goals,” he said.
