Two arrested for stealing building material

SOUTH Hills Project is being targeted by thieves. Two suspects were arrested on Thursday morning May 14 after they were caught red-handed stealing building material.

The project along Nephin Road was launched by Clr Parks Tau and MMC for Housing Clr Dan Bovu in South Hills on November 11 last year.

Ward 57 Clr Faeeza Chame welcomed the swift response by the police and the community. “This is a warning for all the thieves that crime doesn’t pay. I would like to thank the SAPS and staff for their quick response in catching these thieves,” she said.
