Booysens SAPS arrest 38 suspects in a week

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – Between Monday, May 25, and Sunday, May 31, Booysens police arrested a total of 38 suspects for various crimes. Suspects were arrested for the following crimes: armed robbery – two, common assault – seven, assault with grievous bodily harm – six, dealing in drugs – one, housebreaking and theft – one, possession of drugs – ten, possession of stolen copper cable – one, possession of suspected stolen goods – three, possession of suspected stolen motor vehicle – one, possession of unlicenced firearm – one, shoplifting – two, theft – three.
