BCS project tackles youth unemployment
The BCS youth development project aims to curb the rise in youth unemployment by equipping unemployed and unskilled youth with basic life and work skills.

UNEMPLOYED and unskilled youth can now attend free courses at the Believers Care Society‘s (BCS) development centre in Turffontein.
The BCS youth development project aims to curb the rise in youth unemployment by equipping unemployed and unskilled youth with basic life and work skills. It also offers information and assistance to help youth find employment.
The courses offered include PC engineering on both A+ and N+ levels, computer system development NQF 4, call-centre and office skills courses, bookkeeping and end-user computer courses. A level four project management course is also open to members of NGOs or those in the childcare industry.
Courses for the new 2015/16 financial year will start on July 27 at the BCS training centre. In order to qualify for the courses, participants need to reside in Johannesburg South, be between the ages of 16 and 35, have a matric or equivalent, be willing to study and able to complete their entire course.
To apply you need a copy of your ID, proof of residence or an affidavit from the police, copies of previous qualifications and a short CV.
