46 suspects arrested within a week

BOOYSENS police arrested 46 suspects for various crimes, within a week, between Monday, June 15 and Sunday, June 21.

Suspects were arrested for the following crimes: armed robbery – two, common assault crimes – eight, assault with grievous bodily harm – two, common robbery – three, dealing in drugs – one, drunken driving – 10, housebreaking and theft – one, housebreaking with unknown intention – one, hijacking – one, kidnapping – one, possession of drugs – six, possession of stolen motor vehicle – one, possession of stolen property – two, possession of unlicensed firearm – one, rape – one, contravening second hand goods act – one, theft – four.
