Leader of the DA visited the South

Enjoying Panorama Flea Market, Mmusi Maimane (Leader of the DA), Manny de Freitas MP (Member of Parliament for Johannesburg South) and Clr Tyrell Meyers (Constituency Chair of Johannesburg South).

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – The Leader of the Democratic Alliance (DA) and Leader of the Official Opposition, Mmusi Maimane visited Johannesburg South on Sunday July 19, spending a few hours with local DA members at the popular Panorama Flea Market.

“People couldn’t believe that Mmusi was walking around viewing what was on sale and enjoying the Sunday afternoon with us,” explained Manny de Freitas, Member of Parliament for Johannesburg South. He said that almost everyone that met Mr Maimane wanted to take a photograph with him. “South Africans of all walks of life welcomed him with both arms, literally and figuratively,” said de Freitas, “It is clear that he has great support.”

De Freitas said that Maimane enjoyed the afternoon and expressed interest in returning to the South.
