Seven and a half years sentence for housebreaker
Homeowner found that all the taps and toilets were broken while the basins and shower fattening had be removed.

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – A Winchester Hills homeowner will find closure after the man who broke into his home, stole and broke some of his valuables, was recently sentenced to seven years imprisonment.
The perpetrator broke in through the house’s back window on Monday, January 27, and left all the taps, toilets and basins broken. He also removed the shower fittings.Warrant Officer Fannie van Staden was given the case to investigate.
He arrested a suspect in June after the case was reopened due to a new lead. As a result, the suspect was charged with housebreaking and sentenced during his court appearance on Tuesday, July 14, at the Johannesburg Magistrate Court.
