A BODY of a homeless man was found in La Rochelle opposite City Parks offices on Wednesday August 19.
Fire brigade team used ladders to remove his body from a tunnel where he could have been living. Another homeless man who had a phone made a call to the police, the man could have died days ago.
About two months ago three bodies were found, according to the securities. “There are mattresses and clothes outside the tunnel. These guys live here in groups and wake up to go to work and some to beg. They are basically living in the tunnel. Sometimes there is a smoke coming out of this place as if they are burning cables. There are also allegations that these guys fight in there. They call themselves hustlers,” said one of the securities.
Moffatview Police were also on the scene.
