The Devine Intervention Trust will be holding a fund-raiser to help a leukaemia sufferer.

THE Devine Intervention Trust will hold a fund-raiser, to assist a leukaemia sufferer.

Winter is slowly but surely departing, so let’s step into spring by having a ball with family and friends. While enjoying ourselves, we are helping others.

All proceeds made on the night will go to The Devine Intervention Trust fund, to assist in helping to pay Charike’s medical bills for a bone marrow transplant.

The fund-raiser will be held on Saturday, August 20, at the Casa Da Madeira, 46 Goodwood Road, Newmarket Holdings (near Lemontree complex), from 18:00 to late.

What you can expect from the evening includes a performance by Xanilee (Top 16 of The Voice SA) and bands performing while you are moving around the dance floor, namely: Route 12, Chapter 23 and Down With The Beat.

There will be raffle tickets and spot prizes,as well as a cash bar and a kitchen that will offer Portuguese Curry Chicken, Boerewors Rolls and Prego Rolls.

Cost: R50 Entrance fee.
