Church supports South Rand Hospital
Senior Pastor Jack Chirwa said they also offered to assist them with regards to general renovations of the ward.
MEMBERS of the Full Gospel Church of God in Turffontein visited ward 6 for females at South Rand Hospital to paint it on Saturday, October 22. They also donated new curtains, cups, forks, spoons and cleaning products to the ward.
Two years ago the church requested a partnership with the hospital by adopting ward 6. The idea behind this was to visit the ward from time to time to render spiritual upliftment.
Senior Pastor Jack Chirwa said they also offered to assist them with general renovations of the ward. “Since then over a year ago, we have painted the ward. We believe that the purpose of the church is to be a lighthouse to our community, and therefore our responsibility is to not only to preach the Gospel but also to live the Gospel by doing good works,” explained Pastor Chirwa.
