Chairman, Rob Winter, gave thanks to the committee for their valued support during the year and all the members for attending the meetings, and added a special message for those members who couldn’t attend due to illness or who are recuperating from operations.
GLITTER, baubles, crystals, candles and all things sparkling was the theme for the tables at the Christmas lunch for Johannesburg South Garden Club’s members and guests.
Each host decorated a table, six in all, which were judged by guest entertainer, Christine Mansour. The winning table was decorated by Rob and Leonarda Jones, who went for crystal décor.

A buffet lunch was served and enjoyed by all the members as Christine sang some favourite melodies.
The garden club will resume its meetings in January 2017.
