Children gifted by father Christmas
Rewlatch Freemasonry lodges treat needy children and gift them with presents this festive.
AT least 60 underprivileged children gathered at Roslin Park, to enjoy a Christmas party organised by the Rewlatch Freemasonry group, on Saturday, December 3.
The children came from the Actos Community Church in La Rochelle and Angels Care home in Germiston, to have a fun-filled day. They were entertained by local magician Marvelous Max and also got to meet Father Christmas.
A grateful Paster Kaston Muzamba from the church said: “We’re so thankful to these generous people for all that they’ve done for these children. They gave these children an adventure and this is a memory the children will cherish for a long time. We hope they continue doing this for children – not just from our church, but many other organisations and churches.
The seven lodges from the Rewlatch Freemasonry group have made it an annual charitable initiative, to give needy children one special day to be gifted with presents – and spend a day having fun and making memories that should last for a long time.
The elderly residing at Roslin Park Home, were also treated to a braai at the end of the event.
